In the wake of scheduled IT maintenance, ING Belgium has encountered an unforeseen technical snag, disrupting several banking services over the night from Saturday to Sunday.
The incident has led to an interruption in various banking transactions, rendering the following services temporarily unavailable:
- All types of banking transactions via the ING Bank app and ING HomeBank.
- Withdrawals and deposits at ING ATMs.
- Deposits into ING accounts at Batopin CASH points.
However, amidst this disruption, certain essential services remain functional, allowing customers to carry out transactions via:
- ING debit and credit cards for payments.
- Cash withdrawals from Batopin CASH points or other third-party ATMs.
- Payments via Google Pay and Apple Pay.
In a press release issued today, ING assured customers of prompt action to rectify the issue, aiming for resolution before the start of business on Monday, March 25. The bank has extended its apologies to customers for any inconvenience caused.
